Prooflet Acceptable Use & Artwork Responsibility Policy
Part of the Terms of Service: what you may not do with the Service, and your responsibility for the artwork you finalize with it.
Last updated: July 11, 2026
Version: 1
This policy is part of the Prooflet Terms of Service and governs how the Service may be used. Questions and reports: legal@prooflet.ca.
1. Artwork responsibility
You are solely responsible for the artwork you create and finalize with Prooflet:
- Product information you enter must be accurate and complete; checks run against what you provide.
- Every artwork requires your own review and approval before any use, submission, or production. Prooflet's checks and reports support that review — they do not replace it.
- Regulatory compliance, legal review, printer/converter proofing, and distributor acceptance remain your responsibility.
- You must not represent any Prooflet output as certified, approved, or authorized by Health Canada, any regulator, or any converter. Output must not be described as guaranteed compliant or guaranteed print-ready.
2. Prohibited uses
You must not use the Service to:
- violate any law, including the Cannabis Act, the Cannabis Regulations, or provincial and territorial requirements;
- deliberately create packaging designed to evade regulatory requirements or to appeal to young persons;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights, or upload content you have no right to use;
- upload malicious code, or probe, scan, disrupt, overload, or attempt unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
- share account credentials, resell or sublicense access, or use another customer's workspace without authorization;
- scrape or bulk-extract the Service beyond normal product use;
- mislead any regulator, printer, distributor, or consumer with output of the Service, including by altering reports or check results.
3. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may warn, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this policy, as described in the Terms of Service. Where a violation creates legal exposure or risk to others, we may act without prior notice and may notify authorities where required by law.
4. Reporting
Report suspected violations of this policy to legal@prooflet.ca.
